Canesten 1.0% Cream may be used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot, fungal nappy rash and fungal infection of the breast fold (intertrigo). It may also be used for the treatment of irritation of the vulva (entrance to the vagina)or end of the penis (glans) which may be associated with thrush.
